Mixed-media diorama. This was made for my father-in-law, who, while recently recounting to me his roller-skating days, revealed that his skating attire consisted of leopard-striped pants and a hot-pink shirt. Hearing of this most unlikely outfit, I was inspired to make this kinetic box, including Rose in her skating apparel. Both figures spin and glide across an image of the actual Rollodrome interior. The real-life rink is still going strong.
